Walz’s State of the State Speech Most Divisive in History
Governor Tim Walz’s State of the State address on Wednesday night was nothing more than a radical appeal to his fellow Democrats. Rather than talking to Minnesotans, Walz dedicated his speech to paint Minnesota as a stark contrast to red states.
Here’s more of what Walz had to say about the people of Florida during what we think is the most divisive State of the State speech in history:
They are on a march of hatred and bigotry
They are banning books in schools
They see the most vulnerable as scapegoats
They should stop complaining about companies going woke
When he was done bashing conservatives, Walz pledged to make Minnesota the best place to live and raise a family, but his policies don’t paint that future for our state. Democrats are increasing taxes and fees by more than $2 billion, coming after your gas-powered vehicles and tools, lowering accountability for criminals, and putting this state on a path to deadly winter blackouts and rising electricity prices. All of these terrible ideas don’t exactly paint Minnesota as a paradise for all, just the radical left. Perhaps this is why Minnesotans are leaving the state in droves. And where are they going? Red states.
It’s clear that Gov. Walz and Democrats feel emboldened by their trifecta majority and are stopping at nothing to get their agenda passed. As the governor said, they have “a new mandate for action, a moment we’ve been building for a long time and we will not let it go to waste.”
What Walz failed to mention during his speech is the fact that his government is raising your taxes by more than $2 billion. He also failed to mention the fact that Democrats are flip-flopping on their promise to eliminate the tax on social security benefits. How is that fair?!
Minnesotans deserve a governor and legislature responsive to their needs and worries instead of politically pandering to the radical left.
