Minnesotans Deserve Better

As the new legislative session unfolds, Minnesota Democrats are back at it again, wielding their trifecta majority to expand government and introduce more bureaucratic hurdles. 

Despite holding slim majorities in the House and Senate, Democrats continue to disregard the majority of Minnesotans seeking practical solutions to support their families during challenging times. Instead, they've pursued an agenda that is wreaking havoc on our state, depleting a $19 billion surplus, inflating the state budget by 38 percent, and burdening taxpayers with over $10 billion in additional taxes.

This session, Democrats are sending a clear message: they believe your hard-earned dollars are best kept in their pockets, not yours. Unfortunately, DFLers are surpassing benchmarks set by far-left Democrats in states like Illinois, New York, and California. Despite overtaxing families, it's never enough. 

Providing relief to struggling Minnesota families takes a backseat to their tax-and-spend agenda. In times of economic hardship and uncertainty, Minnesotans deserve better.
